Club Vino Terms and Conditions
These Terms and Conditions apply to all services, products, and events offered by Club Vino, whether purchased online through our website or as part of an in-person event. By engaging with Club Vino, you agree to the following terms and conditions.
1. Online Purchases
1.1 Legal Age Requirements
It is illegal to sell or supply alcohol to anyone under 18 years of age in the UK.
By placing an order, you confirm that you are at least 18 years old.
1.2 Payment and Confirmation
Your order is only confirmed once payment is received.
All payments must be made in full prior to dispatch unless otherwise agreed with Club Vino.
1.3 Refunds and Returns
All purchases are refundable up to 14 days after receiving the goods, provided they are in their original condition and unopened. You may also transfer your order to an alternative product within the same value range, subject to availability.
1.4 Shipping
Delivery times and costs are outlined at the point of sale and may vary depending on location. Club Vino is not responsible for delays caused by third-party delivery services. Any damaged or incorrect products must be reported to us within 48 hours of receipt.
1.5 Liability
Club Vino is not responsible for any damage, injury, or loss caused by the improper use of its products. All purchasers and recipients of wine must consume alcohol responsibly.
1.6 Intellectual Property
All content on our website, including text, graphics, images, and software, is the property of Club Vino and is protected by copyright laws. You may not use any content for commercial purposes without our express written consent.
1.7 Data Protection
Your personal data will be handled in accordance with our Privacy Policy and applicable data protection laws, including the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR).
2. Voucher Policy
2.1 Gift Vouchers
Gift vouchers may be used for the purchase of products or to book events with Club Vino. For event bookings, your reservation will not be secured until Club Vino confirms receipt of the voucher and verifies its validity via email.
All gift vouchers are valid for 12 months from the date of purchase unless otherwise specified. Gift vouchers can be redeemed for both online product purchases and event bookings.
If you do not use the gift voucher within the validity period, it will expire, and no refunds or extensions will be granted.
2.2 Vouchers Purchased from External Companies
If you are redeeming a gift voucher purchased through an external provider (third party), your booking or purchase will only be confirmed after Club Vino has verified the voucher code.
Each external company may have specific terms that differ from Club Vino’s policies. Please provide details of the third-party voucher at the time of booking or purchase, and we will inform you of the relevant terms.
2.3 Voucher Cancellation and Transfer
Vouchers are non-refundable and cannot be exchanged for cash. However, in the case of event bookings, cancellations and transfers are subject to the same terms outlined in the Event Cancellation Policy (see section 3).
Bookings made using vouchers can be transferred to another individual if you are unable to attend, provided that the transfer request is made more than 7 days before the event date. Transfers are not available for product purchases.
3. Events Terms and Conditions
3.1 General Event Terms
It is against the law to serve alcohol to anyone under 18 years of age.
By attending an event, you confirm that all members of your party are legally allowed to consume alcohol.
Bookings for events, including corporate and private wine tastings, are only confirmed upon full payment. Gift vouchers are accepted for events, but your booking will not be secured until the voucher is verified by Club Vino staff.
3.2 Behaviour and Safety
Club Vino reserves the right to ask attendees to leave if their behaviour is deemed unacceptable or disruptive.
We do not assume liability for any injuries, accidents, or other incidents resulting from alcohol consumption or misconduct during our events.
4. Private and Corporate Tastings
4.1 Deposits and Payments
A 50% deposit is required to secure any private or corporate event booking.
Full payment must be made no later than 14 days before the event.
Late payments may result in cancellation of the booking.
4.2 Cancellation Charges Policy
This policy applies from the date the contract is signed, with charges for cancellations received based on the event date, as outlined below:
- 91 days or more: 30% of contracted charges due
- 61 to 90 days: 50% of contracted charges due
- 31 to 60 days: 60% of contracted charges due
- 15 to 30 days: 80% of contracted charges due
- 14 days or less: 100% of contracted charges due
4.3 Event Changes
Requests to change guest numbers, menu selections, or event details must be submitted in writing. Adjustments will be accommodated where possible and may result in revised costs.
4.4 Third-Party Services
Club Vino is not responsible for any elements of the event provided by third-party vendors.
4.5 Withdrawal by the Host
Club Vino reserves the right to withdraw from an agreement due to unforeseen circumstances such as Acts of God, or if the Client fails to make payment on time. In such cases, advance payments will be refunded, but no further liability will be accepted.
5. General Provisions
5.1 Health and Safety
Both the Client and their guests must adhere to all relevant health and safety regulations. If required, the Client may need to provide a risk assessment to ensure the safety of all event participants.
5.2 Technical Equipment
Clients may use their own equipment at events, provided prior approval is granted by Club Vino. Any damage caused by misuse of equipment will be the Client’s responsibility.
5.3 Minimum Age
No alcohol will be served to attendees under the age of 18, and proof of age may be requested. Club Vino reserves the right to deny entry to any individuals who cannot provide proof of age.
5.4 Amendments and Disputes
Any amendments to these terms must be agreed upon in writing by both parties. Unilateral changes by the Client are not valid. These terms are governed by English law, and any disputes will be subject to the jurisdiction of English courts.
6. Final Terms for Events and Purchases
All bookings and purchases are subject to availability.
Club Vino reserves the right to update these Terms and Conditions as necessary, and any amendments will be posted on our website.
