Intense Ruby red. This wine exhibits sweet fruits on the nose and palate. A dry and well-balanced red with a pleasant juicy finish that includes notes of cherries, violets, mineral and spice.

• Roc Epine 2018, Domaine Lafond, Cotes du Rhône, France

A very pleasant wine with aromas of ripe fruit, cherries, blackcurrants and undergrowth. The palate is smooth with wonderfully concentrated flavours of dark berries, leather and spice.

• Monte da Cacada 2017, Casa Santos Lima, Alentejo, Portugal

Full bodied wine… Inky red, a great example of Alentejano red. Rich, dense red and black fruits underpinned with subtle minerality. It matches beautifully with food and will age very well in the bottle.

Fresh cherry and vanilla cream on the nose with a well-rounded medium bodied mouth- watering palate.

• Enrico T Malbec 2014, Bodega Tittarelli, Mendoza, Argentina
